Pipers hear it all the time...

“I’ve always loved the sound of the pipes, but I don’t think I could ever learn to play.”

Not True!

You don’t need the biggest lungs in town to play the bagpipes.

You don’t even need musical experience.

All you do need is a love of the instrument and a desire to learn.

Beginners start off on the practice chanter, a recorder-like instrument, then move onto the full bagpipes after mastering the “fingerings.” It may take a year or two to reach a good playing level.

In any event, the bagpipes are a glorious instrument, rich with history and honor. Join the mighty ranks of bagpipers in this country by taking your first step today and contacting Greater Trenton Pipes and Drums.
