Greater Trenton Pipes and Drums is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization composed entirely of volunteer members. Our pipers and drummers give of their time and personal resources freely in order to bring bagpipe music and education to the central New Jersey area and its surrounding communities.

In addition to playing at well over 25 events per year, Greater Trenton Pipes and Drums offers free bagpipe and/or drum lessons to anyone interested in learning. Lessons are provided at many different abilities levels, thereby offering an opportunity for beginners, intermediate or advanced players to develop their musical talent.

As you can imagine, it is extremely expensive to outfit the band with uniforms and equipment. In addition, drum, bagpipe and marching instructors are brought in on a regular basis and are compensated monetarily by our organization.

Please consider supporting our efforts in a way which is comfortable for you.

Your philanthropic contribution will be returned to you tenfold in the knowledge that you are a supporter of the cultural preservation of the Celtic people.

Ways you can support the band:

1. Hire us for your event. One of our primary sources of funding comes from the many performances that we give throughout the year. Please consider hiring us for your parade, festival, party, or educational event. As we are a non-profit organization, you can be assured that all proceeds from our performances go to furthering our ability to bring quality music and education to our community.

2. Make a donation. All donations to Greater Trenton Pipes and Drums are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. We greatly appreciate contributions of any size. It is very important to us to know that our community supports our efforts. Please help us continue to bring quality bagpipe music to our community.

3. Tell others about our organization. “Word of mouth” is still our best means of advertisement.

Help spread the word about Greater Trenton Pipes and Drums and encourage others to do the same. We can never have too many members, fans or supporters.

4. Cheer us on! Come see us at one of our appearances. We greatly appreciate the positive responses that we have received. One of our favorite things to hear from our audience is, “Wow! Look at all the kids involved!” Nothing motivates like the sound of our own cheering section.
